Only Love Can Defeat the World’s Greatest Enemy “Hate”…

Trillions of dollars have been wasted on wars and millions of lives have been lost because of one little four lettered word “Hate”. The world never learns but continues to march full steam ahead under the banner of hatred.

Excerpt from an article by the Hollywood Reporter, author, Paul Bond:

PELLA, Iowa – “Sarah Palin stared a bit uncomfortably at a movie screen Tuesday night watching a montage of Matt Damon, David Letterman, Madonna, Howard Stern, Bill Maher, Louis C.K. and other celebrities malign her, then asked The Hollywood Reporter: ‘What would make someone be so full of hate?’Palin was in Pella, Iowa, at the premiere of a documentary about her called The Undefeated, which opens with several minutes of Hollywood entertainers using some of the most vulgar language imaginable to express their displeasure with the former vice presidential candidate. Some appear genuinely angry, and director Steve Bannon cuts to news footage twice in the film of Palin being hung in effigy.”

It has been said that it is alright to believe whatever you want. That is not true if causes words to be spoken and actions taken that bring harm and pain into the lives of others.

Entertainers are seldom known for wisdom but to be singled out for hatred as the ones featured in the article above makes me want to never watch or listen to them again in anything they are associated with and I have no hate for them but neither do I have any time to waste listening to or watching them.

54 Hate groups in the North West

“The Southern Poverty Law Center identified a total of 54 hate groups operating in Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Montana in 2010. The Alabama-based human rights group found 15 such groups in Oregon and 13 each in Washington, Idaho and Montana. Hate groups are defined as those that follow ideologies of the Ku Klux Klan, neo-Nazis, white nationalists, racist skinheads, Christian identity, neo-confederate, black separatist or general hate.” From The Associated Press

Hate has a predominant presence in the world today. Tens of thousands have been murdered by the Islam terror extremists around the world. Ironically they think they are doing God a favor but in essence it is driven by hate against anyone who chooses to believe differently.

People are hated for the color of their skin, or their ethnic background over which they have no control or their religious affiliation, their sexual orientation, the Way they look, for what they believe and the list could go on and on.

Hate itself is a powerful enemy that destroys the haters and inflicts tremendous pain and suffering on the hated.

Hate is the opposite of love. Is it possible to express both emotions? Yes! Because they each are legitimate God given drives. That being the case why is it wrong to hate? It is the object of hate that makes it wrong. It is right to hate sin but wrong to hate the sinner. It is always wrong to hate people for what they believe, for their ethnic background, the way they look, the color of their skin and in fact for most of all the other reasons that people hate. A person would think that an educated, gifted person like some of those mentioned in the beginning of this article would be above the hatred that they expressed against Sari Palin simply for what she believes.

The truth is that a person can be highly educated and gifted but still be far behind in human personal development. Human personal development is brought about by a driving desire to be a better person which includes a respect for others as well as a mature ability to love. Only Love Can Defeat the World’s Greatest Enemy “Hate”…and drive it away.
