How would you like to live in the greatest city in the world?  It is also the safest city in the world.  There are “0” crimes. No gangsters are allowed in the city; there is no police force, no guns, and all the streets are perfectly safe anytime 24 hours every day. It sounds too good to be true, but It is true! And here are some of the other advantages of living in this city:

• The weather is perfect.
• The city is spotlessly clean.
• The air is pure and so is the water.
• There are free music concerts throughout the day every day.
• Only residents can enter the city.
• It is larger than all the major cities of the world combined.
• Precious metals like Gold and Silver are abundantly used for construction throughout the city.
• All manner of Precious stones, including diamonds, are used in the construction of the 6,000 mile long wall that surrounds the city.
• The area outside the walls of the city is millions of square miles of pristine environment with a perfect climate.
• There never is darkness in the city.
• There are always things to do 24/7.
• Everyone in this city knows and loves you and is your friend.
• Never is a bad word spoken.
• Your security is guaranteed 24/7.
• The landscape inside the city is beautiful with rivers, and fruit bearing trees.
• Every house is a mansion.
• The rent is free.
• Food is free.
• There is no need for money; everything is free.
• There is no sadness or tears.
• Everyone is happy.
• Neither is there any sickness or death.

The name of this city is New Jerusalem, and it will be located in the very same spot where Old Jerusalem is located today. The only way you can live in this city is by invitation. If God has placed a desire in your heart to live in this city, that is your personal invitation, which you can receive or reject. You see, this is the City of God; built by him for his children. All God requires for residence in His beautiful city for all eternity is that you accept his invitation.

By accepting his invitation, you are agreeing to accept His Son, Jesus, as your redeemer from sin. The reason New Jerusalem is the perfect city to live in is because there is no sin there. That is why it is necessary for every person who enters to be forgiven and cleansed of every sin. If you are willing to be cleansed of your sins, you can live in Beautiful New Jerusalem for all eternity. No doubt some of your relatives and friends are already there.

However, just as God prepared a place for the repentant, he also prepared a place for Satan and his angels along with all the un-repentant. The Bible calls this place Hell. It is referred to as a place where there will be wailing and gnashing of teeth, where the flame is not quenched and the worm dieth not. Ironically, it is also a place of outer darkness. In this awful place the un-repentant soul will exist throughout all eternity, completely alone, and separated from the love of God and all those they knew in life. God doesn’t want you to go there, and has provided a way of escape for you through his Son, Jesus Christ, if you are only willing to accept it.

Jesus made it clear as to the only accepted way to enter the eternal city of New Jerusalem. He said, “I am the way the truth and the life and no man cometh unto the Father [or enters the city] but by me”, John 6:14. Why would anyone not want to live in this city, especially when you consider the alternative? Would you like to live in the Greatest City in the world, or the entire Universe?
