Can we know Truth? Part 1

That being true it is possible for some to live their lives based on that which is absolutely untrue. If truth is absolute, then it is important that we know what is true. In the Bible we read, “You shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free.” Absolute Truth – Inflexible Reality “Absolute truth” is defined as inflexible reality: fixed, invariable, unalterable facts. By Jimmie Burroughs Perhaps the best known question about truth is found in the Bible, it comes from Pilate, the Roman governor, who authorized Jesus’ crucifixion; John 18; 37 records this event. When Jesus replied to Pilate’s question concerning his kingdom, he said, “I come to bear witness unto the truth and everyone that is of the truth hears my voice”, Pilate replied: “What is truth?” And, of course he did not wait for an answer!
