Naturally, to get traffic and leads, you need a very efficient and well-designed website, optimized for the search engines. Time was when it took a webmaster to build this type of website at the cost of several thousand dollars. However, today because of the advanced technology that eliminates the need to know Html, free website platforms like WordPress have a built in system that handles the Html for you. Nevertheless, there is still a lot you need to know to build a high traffic site.
Designing a website with a large amount of traffic that converts into leads and money requires a specific method, which includes the development of a sales marketing funnel.
Online marketing is not an overnight get rich scheme! Making a lot of money on the Internet takes a lot of time, preparation, knowledge, and a lot of hard work. Each day, more and more perceptive online marketers are learning how to build a high traffic website and learning how to turn it into a profitable business.
Most website owners do not have a presence on the Internet even after two years, the reason being they do not have an effect website which is search engine optimized to attract traffic. Honestly, it took me about that long. I spent a good sum of money and involved a lot of time and labor to learn the knowledge I needed. To sum up, what I learned is there are three essential things that you will need:

1. YOUR BLOG – this is the nerve center for your business. This will be the headquarters for all your future endeavors. It is your “home website” from which you will convert traffic into leads and then into paying customers.
2. TRAFFIC – this is the most difficult and the most important sequence of building your online business. This is where most online business owners think their greatest problem lies. Without traffic, you will create no leads and unfortunately nothing is going to happen.
3. MARKETING SALES FUNNEL –This is the financial lifeline of your website, which is the tool that converts leads into sales, new reps and cash. Design it to generate cash whether or not your leads join your primary business.
Do not be intimidated by the number of things you will need to do to build your website. They are quite simple with just a few clear instructions:
- Choosing your nitch
- Learning the Importance of a Domain
- Selecting the right domain
- Registering your domain
- Directing your domain to your hosting account
- Setting up a hosting account
- Creating a blog
- Choosing a professional theme for your blog
- Optimizing your WordPress blog with plugins
- Placing an opt in form on your website
- Monetizing your blog
- Creating Content for your blog
- Setting up your marketing funnel
- Getting a quality autoresponder

Therefore, for about $40 a month you are in business. I do not know of any other single business with that incredible low overhead.
There is no one course that will supply you with all the information you will need to run a prosperous business on the Internet, no more than there is one course you can take to receive a college diploma. Education is a progressive thing that you will need to continue as long as you intend to do business on the Internet.
The first need is to get your presence on the Internet. That is essential before you are going to have any success or make any money with online marketing, whether it is affiliate marketing, network marketing or anything else.
