Why I, as a Christian, Cannot Support President Biden…

This article is written from a personal view and not intended to be partisan in nature. There are well intended people in both the Republican and Democrat parties. It is written in opposition to the policies of the present Administration, which I believe is egregiously bad. I read the other day that someone, in an article, said that everyone who voted for President Trump is a fascist. I’m thinking, how could one person know the personal views of everyone who voted for Donald Trump. That is abject stupidity; it is like saying that everyone who voted for Joe Biden is a socialist, which is totally false. I know because I have friends who voted for Joe Biden who are not in any way socialists. 

In 2014, Dr. David Barton appeared on Dr. Charles Stanley’s “In Touch” program as a guest speaker. The views of Dr. Barton are appreciated because they are my views, and I believe his views are in line for America’s best future. Dr. David Barton is not so much a Biblical speaker as a historian, but he is famous for both Biblical truths and his knowledge of historical facts.

Dr. Barten shared his views in 2014 concerning President Obama, who views run very close to the views of President Biden, with the exception that Biden leans further to the radical left. I give credit to Dr. Barten for much of the content of this article. I have drawn some information from his speech that applies to the present and added some of my concerns about the current president, Joe Bidden.

• I respect the office of president and do not want to defame the president’s name, but I maintain the right to disagree.
• I am sorry to say that I do not respect President Biden, not as a person, because of his policies.
• I will respect the president’s office, acknowledge any of the president’s abilities if I see them in action, and pray for him.
• I do not agree with Biden’s appointment of radical liberals to his staff or the nomination of radical liberals to the federal courts.
• I believe there are two genders. There is nothing hard about that question, but some of Bidens court nominees cannot or will not answer it.
• I do not share Biden’s vision or value system for America, which I believe are out of line with the Bible.
• I do not share Biden’s Abortion beliefs, which I believe goes against the sanctity of life.
• I do not share his radical Marxist’s concept of the re-distribution of wealth and the institution of big government.
• I do not share his stated views on raising taxes on those who make $400,000 or more.
• I do not share his view on “the critical race theory” that America is arrogant, and all white people are racial. 
• Opposite of Joe Biden’s view, I believe parents have the right to oppose things being taught to their children, which they believe are not in their best interest; a prime example of this is the “critical race theory,” which promotes the idea that racism is upheld by institutions across America and is deeply embedded in our society.
• I do not share his view on foreign relations, particularly the botched withdrawal from Afghanistan.
• I do not share his view of amnesty for illegals, giving as much a million dollars to families separated during the Trump administration. This is more given to illegals than American families are provided at the death of their children in the military service of our Country.
• I do not share the president’s view of an open border, which is an open door to criminals, the drug cartel, and terrorists who intend bring harm to our country and threaten the safety of Americans.
• I do not support Biden’s crippling of America’s energy production resulting in the rising cost of gas by 60%.
• I’m afraid I have to disagree with the Biden Administration on the big-spending bills, which I believe could increase inflation and bankrupt America.
• I do not support the radical new “Woke Movement” that Biden seems to embrace, which is to cancel American culture and replace it with socialism.
• I do not support the Biden administration’s advancement of the insane “Green New Deal,” which is believed if only 10% was imposed, it would bankrupt America.
• I believe Biden’s purpose of climate change could cost trillions of dollars and is totally impossible. God rules the laws of the universe, not man. It is like trying to change the direction of the wind; at the same time, I think we are responsible on how we treat God’s earth.
• I do not share Biden’s views on homosexuality and his definition of marriage. According to the Bible, marriage is with one man and one woman.
• I do not share Biden’s Strategic views of the Middle East and his plan to sit down with terrorist regimes such as Iran.
• I do not support defunding the police promoted by Biden’s radical left Democrats, which has resulted in a spike in crime across America where no one is safe anymore.
• Unlike the Biden administration, I do not support “Black Lives Matter,” which I believe to be a racial, destructive, hate organization, which is not interested in advancing the cause of black people; at the same time, I do support the rights of all Americans regardless of race, color, or ethnic background. 
• The bottom line: I love America and have a vastly different view of it from Biden’s, and I believe my obligation to my Country and to God is much higher, as well as my belief to do that which is Right for America!

For five years, the liberals have attacked President Trump, his family, and his beliefs as encouraged by numerous entertainers with no platform and no real credibility other than their celebrity status. There has been no effort by them to move toward the center in their beliefs and philosophies; there has been no effort to come together nor to compromise their personal views for the betterment of America! It seems to them, America is a land where everything is tolerated, and there is no intolerance!

For years, liberals, in my opinion, have been nothing more than a vocal and irreverent minority! Liberals have attacked the very core values that make America the great nation it is and have mocked the founding fathers and the potential growth of our Country! It has been their purpose to remove the name of God or Jesus Christ from our Society! They have challenged the right to bear firearms, capital punishment, and the most basic principles of our criminal code. I believe Biden’s nominees to Federal Courts are liberals who cede more to criminals than they do to the law-abiding citizens of America.

The right of free speech, the most fundamental of all Freedoms, has come under attack by the liberals! We as Christians should never unite behind Biden or the radical beliefs of the liberals in this Country!

You who read this today may think that I am going over the top, but I will not retreat in favor of those whom I believe are destroying America and are the embodiment of Evil! I believe President Trump made at least some of his decisions in light of the long-established Judeo-Christian principles and our Founding Fathers! I also believe that he made many mistakes in judgment during his presidency, and it is uncertain how history will judge him. 

The majority rules in America, and I accept the election of President Biden; however, I will use what means I have to voice opposition to Biden and his “goals for America.” We Christians must never compromise with those who want to destroy the culture of America and replace it with Socialism, which has been proven a failure where ever it has been tried. It is completely insane to think man can cure all the social ills that life brings through big government.

I pray that the results of the mid-term election of 2022 will wake up many who have sat on the sidelines and allowed the Socialist-Marxist anti-GOD crowd to slowly change so much of what has been good in America! Dr. J. Vernon McGee said, over 32 years ago, that America was far more socialists than most realized. I wonder what he would say about that today.
