Why is the Price of Gasoline Going Through the Roof?

“By 2017, the USA was producing more oil than Saudi Arabia and Russia, effectively removing OPEC and Russia’s ability to reduce the supply of oil on the global market to increase the price.” [1]

“Since assuming the office of the Presidency, Joe Biden has taken several actions to obstruct oil production in the United States, including a suspension of new oil and gas leases on federal lands and blocking oil sales in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge (ANWR). He also canceled the Keystone XL pipeline within hours of assuming office.” [2]

Now America is dependent on Russia to supply the shortfall. “Across 2021 the US imported between 12 million as 26 million barrels of crude oil and petroleum from Russia every month. In November 2021, the most recent figure on record, the Energy Information Agency reports that the US took 17.8 million barrels.” [3]

Now that the United Stated is posing sanctions on Russia over Ukraine, how do you think Russia will respond? For one thing, they probably will discontinue supplying the US with oil. As a result, we could see gasoline go to as much as $7.00 a gallon.

When are Biden and his radical, liberal administration going to wake up and begin to consider America first again instead of last? When is he going to start trying to address the problems of America instead of appeasing the radicle left? According to all indications, he is not; According to his recent statements, the administration will continue to promote the same bad judgment that has gotten the United Stated into the mess it is in today.

Thank goodness, help is on the way. The national polls show Biden and Camila Harris’s popularity falling to an all-time low. If this continues, and it probably will, the midterm elections will favor the Republicans, and the Democrats will come to an end of their radical march towards socialism.

Pray that God will send godly people of character and wisdom to lead this country back to sanity.
