In my state of Tennessee, a new bill has passed the House and Senate by a three-to-one margin to allow students to question evolution, a right they didn’t have before. Scientists are speaking out against this new bill: “Scientists in Tennessee and the American Association for the Advancement of Science say evolution is established science that shouldn’t be taught as a controversy”[1]. Should it also be against the law to even question it? I’m thinking, how ridiculous; show me the proof that evolution is an established fact. No one has yet proved evolution to be unquestionable, established scientific truth; far from it. I’m not a scientist, but I’ve been taught that before anything can be accepted as an established scientific truth, it must be observed and tested in a laboratory, and proven to be a scientific fact. Evolution has never met that criteria, and has never been observed in a laboratory test or otherwise. Therefore, it is no more than a scientific theory, and certainly should be questioned. It needs to be noted that we do not live in a communistic country where the government decides what the citizens can question and cannot question.

The evolutionists say that evolution can be tested in a laboratory. The way they apply that is by fabricating a film version of how evolution works which contains 90% man made animation and say that is laboratory evidence that evolution is true. What a stretch that is and certainly not scientific.

The more I read about evolution, written by evolutionists, the more confirmed I am in my belief of its fallacy.

In his new book, Why Evolution is True, Jerry Coyne gives a definition of evolution:

“In essence, the modern theory of evolution is easy to grasp. It can be summarized in a single (albeit slightly long) sentence: Life on earth evolved gradually beginning with one primitive species—perhaps a self-replicating molecule—that lived more than 3.5 billion years ago; it then branched out over time, throwing off many new and diverse species, and the mechanism for most (but not all) of evolutionary change is natural selection.”

Clearly, he intentionally excludes any discussion of the origin of life (the primitive species). The big question concerning evolution remains; and that is how a lifeless Earth produced that first living thing, “the primitive species.” Coyne postulates that the first single kind of living thing, “perhaps a self-replicating molecule,” is the foundation upon which all evolution rests. The problem is that no evolutionist has ever been able to explain just how that original form of life came to be, and they avoid any discussion of it.

Even though, Coyne is clear on evolution beginning with the living substance which already contained the mechanism somehow for attracting energy from the environment, and then storing that energy, and converting it into energy to form other things; also the uncanny ability to grow, and to reproduce itself into intrinsic other forms; furthermore, it had the ability to use its genetic information as a method for expressing genetic information to form physical features. Even though this living substance had to come from somewhere, he contends to understand that is unnecessary, or of no importance to answering the questions as to how our existence on earth came about.

How absurd; it is clearly important that the understanding of the origin of that first living thing is vital to clarifying the theory of evolution. The reason why Coyne, or any other evolutionist, don’t include the origin of life in their definition of evolution is because they don’t know the answer, and can’t even begin to explain it.

America’s children are blindly being led down the deceptive road of evolution

Today, where I worship, before Sunday morning worship, a teenager came to one of the pastors and told him she had a bad week last week; he asked her why. She told him that, during her biology class, the topic of evolution had come up. She said that she stood it as long as possible, and then did something she had never done before. She stood up and said, “This isn’t right; there is a Bible, and there is a God.” The entire class turned on her and after class her best friend caught up to her and told her that she never wanted to speak to her again; all because she did not agree with evolution. This is the typical response of those who propagate evolution. As one professor says, “they have an unwritten rule that states regardless of your education, if you don’t agree with evolution you will never be accepted in scientific circles.”  This is how they assure that their so called proof is always consistent.

I’m not surprised at the response she got from her peers. These teenagers have been exposed to the teaching of evolution from the time they entered public school. It is against the law to teach creationism in public schools, so kids only get it from the evolution prospective.

Mr. Leaky is partially right. At the present rate  In 15 to 30 years there will be a strong following of evolution because the present generation is being carefully brainwashed to believe nothing else, but there is one thing he didn’t take into account, and that is that there are still millions of true believers in God who live on this earth, and who have experienced the saving grace of Jesus Christ in their life, and the transformation it brings about, as well as the peace that passes all understanding, along with answered prayers in their life.

These believers will never turn form the true God of heaven to the false god of evolution regardless what science may fabricate. Therefore, you can count on it that there will always be an element of skepticism and disbelief of evolution as long as the world stands. Even though evolution is subtly gaining ground, it will ultimately fall.

My prediction is quite the opposite of Leakey’s and more emphatic

Mr. Leakey may be very confident in his prediction, but then so am I in my prediction, well, not really mine but a prophecy of the Bible. In the future, no one knows when, according to the Bible, God will make himself known in such a way, and with such power that there will not be a single soul on earth who will doubt that he is. His presence will declare that He is the Almighty God of the universe.

There was a time when it was difficult for me to imagine why anyone would believe a theory as farfetched as evolution, but it occurred to me that there has always been, and shall always be some who refuse to believe in God regardless, and according to the Bible, even after there is no doubt concerning him there will still be those who refuse to trust in him. Therefore, a person who refuses to believe in God has but one other alternative, and that is to trust in evolution. Evolution is a god, an idol man has set up in place of the true God of the universe..

The options

People today have two options; both are based on faith; it is either faith in the god of evolution, or a faith in the true God of the universe. Each theory has that on which they base their faith. The evolutionists have a few old bones that have been dug up from the ground, and a 90% fabricated film that shows how evolution works that they claim is the evidence which provides the substance of their faith in evolution. On the other hand, the believer in God has an accurate written record of 66 books contained in the Bible that have never been proven to be false. They also have the personal experience of the transformation that has taken place in their own lives, plus the beauty of God’s creation all around that testifies of his presence and intelligent design in all creation.

It is fully accepted that every item we use today, whether it is a glass to drink water from or a jet plane to fly around the world, is the result of intelligent design, but when it comes to the creation of our own body, the most technical and sophisticated thing of all, it happened by chance, all by Sheer random selection, according to evolutionists. It takes far more faith to believe in evolution than to believe in God; it takes a mind bent on alternatives to accept that which is completely untenable.

The benefits

What are the benefits of believing in evolution? The feeling, perhaps, of thinking themselves to be scientifically accurate maybe is one. Otherwise, I can’t think of another one. If you can, please let me know in the comment section below; I would be interested in knowing. What is the greatest disadvantage of trusting in evolution? You can’t afford to be wrong because if you are and there is a God and the Bible is true, you face an eternity alone in outer darkness without God, family or friends, according to the Bible.

What if the believer is wrong and evolution is true?  Not one thing is lost. My life as a believer has been truly blessed. But what are the benefits if believers are right and there is a God? The benefits are many, but I’ll name only two: having the presence of God in our lives and the peace that goes with it; knowing that when we die that we will go to heaven and be reunited with family and friends who have gone on before and live in the presence of God eternally.

Conclusion

Sorry, Mr. Leaky; if you think the debate on the scientific accuracy of evolution is going to be history within the next 15 to 30 years, you have another thought coming, and you sure have your work cut out for you because nothing you or anyone else has come up with yet is the least bit convincing, at least to those of us who have experienced the reality of a living God.
